West Point has introduced its first “Adopt a Dispatcher” event, inviting locals to create gift baskets and donate items to honor the town’s 911 call-takers. The initiative coincides with Public Safety Telecommunications Week, shining a light on the dedicated professionals at the other end of every emergency call.
