Colorado Springs School District 11 appointed Amanda Huber during its regular board meeting on September 3 to replace Lauren Nelson, who resigned last month. Nelson left her position to focus on her responsibilities as an El Paso County Commissioner, and Huber’s arrival ensures continuing leadership for District 11’s board.

Farmers Union Insurance has announced that Yankton’s own Brandon Teichroew has joined the company as a Property and Casualty agent. Stepping into the role previously held by interim agent Brendon Hansen, Teichroew will now serve clients in the region.
