Opp’s basketball team has soared to a 21-5 record—its best yet—thanks to consecutive wins over Andalusia, Straughn, and Georgiana. With a stunning 40-point night from standout player DJ Hines, the Bobcats now prepare to host the area tournament from February 9–11.

The Central boys basketball team welcomes back three full-time starters and one part-time starter from a squad that went 21-6 last season. With an Area Tournament appearance fresh in their minds, the returning core looks to build on that momentum. They aim to achieve even greater success in the coming season.
