Uber intends to expand its autonomous offerings by launching a premium robotaxi service in Houston by mid-2027. This second U.S. market under a partnership with electric vehicle maker Lucid and autonomous vehicle startup Nuro follows active preparations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

DeepRoute.ai, an autonomous driving platform provider, is set to reach a major milestone of delivering 200,000 vehicles by the end of the year. After capturing 40% of the third-party NOA market in October, the company aims to expand further into robotaxi and next-generation autonomous applications.
