As ICE focuses on immigration enforcement, many immigrant caregivers who provide essential daily support for America’s elderly are at risk of removal. Concern over due process has escalated, raising questions about how seniors will receive proper care if their trusted caregivers are forced to leave.

A new virtual program, “Self-Compassion for Caregivers,” is scheduled for Feb. 2. Participants can expect to learn strategies for prioritizing mental health while caring for others, in a session originally reported by The Globe.
