Rutha Elizabeth “Bette” Helfrich of Belmont, who for years vowed she would live to be 100, proudly celebrated that milestone last October. She passed away on May 24, leaving behind a legacy of determination and fulfilled promises.

As Dorothy Rowley reaches her 100th birthday on May 18, her family invites the community to celebrate her remarkable milestone at an open house on May 25 at Gilman Park in Pierce.
