A Centralia resident was removed from Wednesday’s Port of Centralia meeting after grabbing at another attendee’s phone, which was in the process of recording. Local security intervened quickly, leading to the individual’s removal.

A 35-year-old man was taken into custody in Centralia after allegedly stealing beer and cigarettes, then spitting on officers who tried to detain him. Police say he ran from the scene and attempted to hide before his arrest.
