Venice Crossing, an 83-acre commercial development, may soon welcome Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, and Whataburger. Local planning officials have requested additional details, eyeing the impact these popular restaurants will have on the community.

Chick-fil-A, known for closing its doors every Sunday, will remain shut for an extra day during the week this Christmas. The closure happens only twice a year and marks a second no-chicken day for devoted fans across the nation.
