A Brainerd man pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a child and received probation in Crow Wing County District Court. He accepted a plea agreement in August 2025 and was sentenced on January 7, 2026.

The Ohio Fourth District Court of Appeals has affirmed the life sentence of a former Pomeroy man convicted of raping and sexually assaulting three children. Despite the defendant’s efforts to overturn the verdict, the court upheld both the convictions and the original prison term.
