Temple has bid farewell to 70-year-old resident, Bruce Randall Gan, who died on Wednesday, October 1. Funeral arrangements are pending at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, with additional details expected soon.

Rowland Unified will rename one of its resource centers to honor retired president Malkin, who served the school district for nine years. During his leadership, he oversaw the largest technology device deployment in district history, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sgt. Rosslyn Edward Gresens’s remains, missing for 75 years, were recently returned from Korea. On Monday, in Hill City, he was laid to rest as hundreds gathered to honor his sacrifice, proving that the Korean conflict is far from forgotten.

Gary “Meatball” Nehls, a cherished member of the Morgantown community, passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 59. Born in Waynesburg to the late Arthur and Emma Nehls, his legacy of warmth and friendship will be fondly remembered.
