With Election Day right around the corner on November 3, Loudoun County residents are preparing to cast their ballots on congressional seats, proposed amendments to the state constitution, and local funding measures. Early voting has already started as of September 18, making it easier for voters to plan ahead.

At a recent event, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar criticized the 1976 amendments to India’s Constitution, calling the changes a “festering wound” that betray the wisdom of its framers. He condemned the addition of “socialist”, “secular”, and “integrity” to the Preamble during the Emergency, asserting that no other country’s Preamble has been altered.
