A construction crew accidentally struck a gas line in downtown Idaho Falls, prompting evacuations on Monday. By around 5 p.m., Intermountain Gas crews had the leak under control, allowing businesses to resume normal operations.

A construction worker died Thursday after falling 60 feet at the Gateway tunnel project site in Manhattan. The man, whose name has not been released, was working on a recently poured foundation wall when he plunged into the pit below.
