Literacy Volunteers-Androscoggin is calling on local residents to help reach a $500 fundraising goal with an end-of-summer bottle drive. By dropping off returnables at Roopers and designating proceeds to Literacy Volunteers, donors will support critical efforts to promote reading and education.

The Neighbors in Need drive has once again demonstrated the community’s generosity, surpassing $13,103 to support the YMCA of Southwest Washington in offering vital programs and services. Even though the fundraising deadline has passed, donations continue to make a meaningful impact.
