Stanton Elementary School has relied on the same two modular classrooms since 1984. After decades of deliberation, the Stanton Board of Education is taking a major step by moving forward with a bond proposal, aiming to replace these long-standing temporary solutions with a modern school building.

Alabama’s community colleges have recorded their fifth consecutive year of enrollment growth, up nearly 8% this fall. With this momentum, the board has committed $30 million to a workforce partnership and introduced additional new projects, underscoring the state’s focus on advanced skill-building and job readiness.
