An inmate at the federal prison complex in Terre Haute has been sentenced to an additional five years in prison following the fatal stabbing of a fellow inmate in 2023.

A Kansas City firefighter paramedic was tragically killed when a patient stabbed him aboard an ambulance during a routine medical transport. The incident has led to murder charges against the assailant and has left the community in mourning.
