Community leaders and golf enthusiasts gathered at the Rio Bend Golf Course in Brawley for a scramble-style tournament to benefit the Foundation for Education. Eighteen teams competed in the Sixth Annual Golf Fundraiser on Saturday, February 21, 2026, supporting the mission to enhance local educational opportunities.

The 38th Annual Bernie Hutzler Golf Classic surpassed its fundraising goal of $92,000 in what organizers are calling a “resounding success.” The funds raised will provide critical support for new programs, patient safety enhancements, and advanced equipment.
