Google Cloud has unveiled an “agentic” Security Operations Center meant to accelerate incident management while rolling out new protections across its product suite. The move, announced on August 19, broadens the company’s strategy for securing artificial intelligence and reinforcing trust in its cloud services.

Mercedes-Benz and Google Cloud are expanding their partnership to introduce AI-powered conversational capabilities to the MBUX Virtual Assistant. Leveraging Google Cloud’s Automotive AI Agent, drivers will soon engage in natural-language conversations with their vehicles to access real-time navigation and point-of-interest information from Google Maps Platform. The enhanced assistant will debut in the new Mercedes-Benz CLA series later this year.
