Franklin junior swimmer, Jordan Stumpf, made a splash at the PIAA Class 2A Swimming and Diving Championships by finishing ninth in the 200 freestyle. His performance earned him an all-state honorable mention at Bucknell University’s Kinney Natatorium.

Southmoreland’s Allison Stinnett, a senior who claimed silver in the 100 breaststroke last year, is now favored to excel in the 100 butterfly at the WPIAL Class 2A Swimming & Diving Championship. As the top seed, she aims to turn last season’s success into a championship win.
