After four years of major construction, Northeast Ohioans can finally look forward to smoother travel. Work on more than 45 lane miles and over 40 bridges is now substantially complete, creating what officials call an “enhanced gateway” to Akron.

In a surprising turn of events, the Trump Administration has taken over the renovation of New York City’s Penn Station, effectively removing the MTA from the project. The federal government, through Amtrak and the Department of Transportation, is now leading the station’s overhaul.
