The District of Lake Country, in consultation with Interior Health, has issued a boil water notice affecting several homes. Effective Wednesday, the notice is expected to last six to seven days and includes properties on Sherman and Teresa roads.

The emergency department at 100 Mile District General Hospital will be closed from Saturday evening until Sunday morning, according to a notice from Interior Health. Residents are advised to seek alternative medical services during this period.
