A deadly stampede at a food distribution center in the Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of 20 Palestinians, marking the first fatalities at the organization’s sites amid escalating tensions.

Twenty-seven people were killed in southern Gaza on Tuesday when Israeli troops opened fire near a US-backed aid center. The Israeli military has stated that the incident is under investigation.
