Lucky Star Chinese Food Express has taken its place in Joplin’s restaurant lineup, welcoming customers to a location that has housed several eateries over the years. Open for just over a week, the spot at 842 S. Range Line Road brings new flavors to a familiar address.

Residents of Joplin gathered to honor a Tuskegee Airman who graduated from Lincoln High School. He was one of only 19 African American men from Missouri to train at the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama.
