Kansas head coach Bill Self found himself in a tighter contest than expected at the Lenovo Center. Though his Jayhawks escaped with a win, Self commended NC State’s Wolfpack for their intensity and resilience in a hard-fought matchup.

In his much-anticipated coaching debut, Will Wade led NC State to a decisive 114-66 win over NC Central. Fans packed the Lenovo Center to witness a new era of Wolfpack Basketball, and they left with plenty of optimism.
