Japanese screen icon Yoshinaga Sayuri will be celebrated with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival. Standing at the forefront of this year’s event, she also stars in the opening film, “Climbing for Life.”

Colm Meaney, celebrated for his role as Miles O’Brien in “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” is set to receive the Irish Academy Award for lifetime achievement, honoring his five-decade career in film and television.
