A new weekend farmers market is arriving at Fair Park, offering a chance to draw more visitors and boost local engagement. Supporters see this as a much-needed step toward revitalizing one of Dallas’s most prominent public spaces.

Downtown Imperial burst into a family-friendly wonderland on Saturday, Feb. 7. Part of Imperial’s 2025-2026 Signature Event Series, the vendor fair offered flying swings, a super slide, and local shopping stalls that celebrated the city’s vibrant community spirit.

In a spirited display of community unity, Freedom Vets and the Golden Flea Vendors Market hosted the first Togetherness Tribute, featuring a hot dog eating contest with cash prizes and a vibrant marketplace next to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter.
