Gladstones Malibu will honor members of the Los Angeles Fire Department for their rapid response to last year’s fire along the coastline. The public event on Friday, Feb. 20, from 11 a.m. to noon will mark the one-year anniversary of the blaze. Residents are welcome to join at 17300 Pacific Coast Highway.

Malibu’s city officials, partners, and advocates recently celebrated the completion of a $19 million project to synchronize 12 traffic signals along an 8-mile stretch of Pacific Coast Highway. The improvements are designed to enhance road safety and streamline traffic flow between Topanga Canyon Boulevard and John Tyler.
