National Guard members assigned to a crime-fighting patrol in downtown Memphis fatally shot a man who reportedly turned toward them with a gun. Memphis Police confirmed the incident occurred on Sunday while soldiers and officers were responding to a call.

A man is wanted in Frayser after Memphis police say he fired shots at a car while running through an apartment complex. The gunfire hit a woman’s home, and the suspect remains at large.
