A one-car crash near Cameron, Missouri, ended tragically Wednesday morning when a 28-year-old driver lost control on U.S. Route 36 and flipped his vehicle. The driver, who was skidding off the highway, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to local authorities.

In a ceremony held at the Patrol Academy gymnasium in Jefferson City, 28 troopers graduated from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy. The event marked the completion of the 123rd Recruit Class, which began training on January 2.
