Joe Coleman, a right-handed pitcher who won 142 games over a 15-season MLB career and was an All-Star with the Detroit Tigers, died Wednesday morning at 78, his son announced. Coleman was the No. 3 pick in the first MLB draft and played for teams including the Senators and Tigers.
