In a deadly confrontation on Herndon Street, a 20-year-old robbery suspect was killed after exchanging gunfire with the victim. Police have charged two other suspects with murder.

The jury in Karen Read’s murder trial has begun deliberations after closing arguments were presented. Read is accused of killing her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe, by backing into him with her SUV over three years ago.
