A contracted kitchen worker at the Jefferson County Jail has been charged with promoting contraband after authorities launched an investigation earlier this month. The Sheriff’s Office Jail Staff and Narcotics Detectives say the individual was allegedly bringing illegal items into the facility.

An investigation triggered by reports of naked men acting erratically culminated in the arrest of two Omaha CBD store owners. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office suspects the duo of selling narcotics from their northwest Omaha establishment.
