On August 27 at 11 a.m. Mountain Time, a virtual event aims to amplify the perspectives of young people in national parks. Organized by the National Park Service, The Corps Network, and the National Park Foundation, it also celebrates 110 years of the NPS and the 250th milestone ahead.

Anniston, Alabama, has received a $750,000 federal grant from the National Park Service’s Paul Bruhn Historic Revitalization program. These funds will be allocated as subgrants by the Anniston Downtown Development Authority to help transform the city’s historic downtown.
