When the Omaha-based Nebraska Reign club softball team found itself in Oklahoma City, it was more than just another road trip. They discovered that many of the Nebraska Huskers they were watching at the Women’s College World Series came from the same hometowns, igniting a powerful spark of inspiration for these young athletes.

Nebraska’s softball team showcased incredible determination on Thursday night, with pitcher Jordy Frahm throwing 133 pitches over a grueling 10 innings. With the Cornhuskers now eying a potential face-off against top-seeded Alabama in the Women’s College World Series, fans look to the continued heroics of both Frahm and standout player Hannah Coor.
