Hot and dry conditions are forecast to be the top environmental threat to Peachland, according to a new local assessment. The report, presented to the Peachland council, ranks future hazards in a strategy required by the provincial government.

After a seasonal closure, the popular multi-use trail linking Peachland and West Kelowna is open once again. Local authorities encourage visitors to be “wildsafe” as they enjoy the scenic route and remain mindful of local wildlife.
