In a remarkable turn of events, a series of poems written by the late Vietnam veteran Ed Markow—known as “The Hawk”—was discovered on his laptop. These heartfelt reflections, now compiled into a volume titled “Soaring Higher,” have been published by Palmetto Publishing, shedding light on the personal journey of a soldier and poet.
