A resilient great-horned owl has been released back into San Diego’s skies after a 127-day rehabilitation. The San Diego Humane Society nursed it back to health, underscoring the importance of wildlife rescue and conservation efforts.

Left for dead with shattered bones, Zacky, a seven-month-old rescue dog, was given little chance of walking again. Thanks to intensive care and unyielding spirit, he’s now making an incredible recovery and searching for a forever home.
