Dozens of residents at Novato’s Romar Court Apartments have been displaced after the city red-tagged the building due to structural hazards. Officials cited serious safety concerns as the reason for the sudden evacuation, leaving tenants searching for new homes.

An early morning fire at West Wind Apartments in south Fargo forced all residents to evacuate, with most returning except those from two units. Just minutes before the fire call, police had responded to a nearby burglary report, though any connection remains unclear.
