Police in Southeast Washington, D.C., have arrested a teenager suspected of carrying out a violent carjacking and kidnapping last May. The victim was reportedly assaulted, robbed, and left without a vehicle. Authorities confirm that the investigation remains ongoing.

In a deadly confrontation on Herndon Street, a 20-year-old robbery suspect was killed after exchanging gunfire with the victim. Police have charged two other suspects with murder.
