A proposed $38.3 million in federal funding for water infrastructure projects in Lompoc and the Santa Ynez Valley has moved forward, thanks to approval from the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. If enacted, this funding would come through the Water Resources Development Act of 2026, bringing much-needed investments to local communities.
