A 27-year-old Walkerton man was hospitalized with head injuries after his vehicle veered off Sycamore Road and landed on railroad property in the early hours of New Year’s Day. Authorities believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the single-vehicle crash, which remains under investigation.
