Memorial Hospital’s Health and Wellness Teaching Kitchen is hosting a special summer cooking program geared toward individuals with diabetes. The sessions aim to demonstrate healthy meal preparation and dietary strategies that support long-term well-being.

A local foods dinner and auction on September 18 aimed to bolster the North Alabama Agriplex’s outreach programs and its $3.2 million construction of a teaching kitchen and community hub. Led by Alabama Farm Credit, the evening drew strong support and confirmed that the project remains on schedule for completion.
