Traci DeShazor, a Danville native regarded as a familiar leader in Richmond and Virginia government, has been appointed Virginia’s secretary of administration by Gov.-elect Abigail Spanberger. She will supervise the fundamental but often overlooked tasks that keep the state’s government running efficiently.
