Veterans Day highlights how essential veterans are to the wellbeing of our communities. It also reminds us that there is always more we can and should do to honor their service.
In a solemn gathering at the Veterans Monument, around 35 veterans, elected officials, and the Marine Corps Color Guard joined community members to pay tribute on Veterans Day. The ceremony highlighted the city’s deep respect for those who served, reflecting unity and gratitude among all in attendance.
North Fayette Valley Elementary and Middle School is shifting its traditional Veterans Day assembly from 2 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11. The event will take place in the middle school gymnasium, honoring those who have served in our nation’s armed forces.
