Barebottle Brewing Company, a San Francisco-based brewery, is making its East Bay debut this fall in Walnut Creek. Although the new location at 1375 South California Blvd. is aiming for an October launch, a specific grand opening date has yet to be announced.

A 58-year-old Walnut Creek resident, identified as Kerry Elizabeth Ahearn, is missing after taking a hike near Whitethorn. Search and rescue teams continue their efforts to locate her.
