After a seasonal closure, the popular multi-use trail linking Peachland and West Kelowna is open once again. Local authorities encourage visitors to be “wildsafe” as they enjoy the scenic route and remain mindful of local wildlife.

A tragic incident claimed the life of a zookeeper who was attacked by a lion in front of horrified onlookers. Witnesses say the keeper felt comfortable around the animal, making the fatal encounter all the more chilling.
