At least 46 people were killed and more than 160 wounded on Wednesday, according to Yemen’s Houthi-run Health Ministry, after Israel launched airstrikes on the capital Sanaa and the northern province of al-Jawf. The attacks are part of heightened tensions between Israel and Iranian-backed Houthi forces in Yemen.
