Braxton Middle’s boys’ basketball team soared through the CWVAC Tournament, capturing quarterfinal and Final Four wins before ending their run as proud second-place finishers. Competing against Webster in a hard-fought championship game, the Braxton boys demonstrated the grit and skill that define local sports excellence.

Nearly 90 teams of boys and girls in grades 2 through 8 will converge on Walla Walla this December 13–14. Local venues will welcome players, parents, and fans for an Amateur Athletic Union tournament that promises a weekend of excitement and competition.

The Carter County Sports Hall of Fame has released the brackets for its highly anticipated Holiday Tournament, scheduled from December 26 to 31 at the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Center. Sponsored by the Johnson City Eye Clinic, the event will feature youth basketball teams from across the region, showcasing local talent in an exciting week of competition.
