Shortly after completing her education, Pat married John Dennis “Denny” O’Donnell on May 29, 1971. The couple settled in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where Pat began her illustrious career as a pharmacist. She worked at Skip’s Budget Drug before becoming the founding pharmacist of the University of North Dakota’s Student Health Pharmacy. Her pioneering efforts provided accessible healthcare services to countless students. Pat retired from UND in 2015, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and professionalism.
