Appointment of Dr. Arturo Gomez as VP of Engineering

As the company gears up for the commissioning of its Hydrochemolytic™ Technology (HCT) pilot plant in the third quarter of 2025, Aduro has appointed Dr. Arturo Gomez as Vice President of Engineering. Dr. Gomez holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). With over two decades of experience, he has held senior engineering roles at prominent organizations such as MilliporeSigma, Lanxess, and Bartek Ingredients.

“We are thrilled to welcome Arturo to our team,” said Ofer Vicus, CEO of Aduro. “His extensive experience in chemical process development and scale-up will strengthen our engineering capabilities and accelerate the commercialization of our Hydrochemolytic™ platform.”

Dr. Gomez expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating, “Joining Aduro represents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a truly innovative chemical technology platform. I look forward to working with the team to advance our technology.”

Commissioning of the HCT Pilot Plant

Aduro is preparing to commission its HCT pilot plant in Q3 2025, a significant milestone in its path to commercialization. The pilot plant will leverage the company’s patented Hydrochemolytic™ Technology to recycle low-value feedstocks, such as waste plastics and heavy crude oils, into valuable resources suitable for the 21st century.

The expertise of Dr. Gomez in process intensification is expected to be instrumental in completing the pilot plant and developing future commercial demonstration facilities focused on HCT. His background in reactor design, advanced materials manufacturing, and chemical process optimization positions him to lead the engineering team effectively.
